Some adventures begin with an opportunity. Ours began with a deep desire to change our lives… and, above all, to embark on a new adventure together as a family.

Before settling in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, our daily lives looked quite different.

Charlotte managed a hotel on the Normandy coast, where her mother, Laurence, had worked alongside her for several years. Timothée worked as a chef, while Romane was a massage therapist at a thalassotherapy center.

We were all passionate about what we did, but one dream kept coming up in our conversations: bringing our experience and expertise together in one place — a place that truly reflected who we are.

The Desire to Slow Down

The Normandy coast is beautiful, but life there moves at a fast pace, particularly during the tourist season.

Over the years, we began to long for more peace and quiet, more nature, and the opportunity to build a closer relationship with the guests we welcomed.

We dreamed of a place where we could take the time to talk with our guests, share our favorite places, introduce them to our region, and offer a more personal experience.

That desire eventually led us to La Ferme de L’Oudon.

Love at First Sight

From our very first visit, we knew there was something special about this place.

The old stone buildings, the tall trees, the meadows, the peaceful atmosphere… everything seemed to have a story to tell.

We immediately imagined what this former Norman farmhouse could become: a peaceful retreat for couples looking to unwind, families wanting to spend time together, and travelers simply wishing to slow down for a few days.

Above all, we realized that this was the place where we could finally work together.

Charlotte welcomes you, makes sure your stay runs smoothly, and does everything she can to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Laurence prepares each accommodation with great care and pays close attention to the little details that make all the difference.

Timothée prepares the breakfasts and our Table d’Hôtes, sharing his passion for the flavors and produce of Normandy.

Romane welcomes you to the Spa and offers massages and wellness treatments designed to help you relax and unwind.

It is this combination of our different personalities, skills, and passions that has shaped the identity of La Ferme today.

We made a simple choice: quality over quantity.

With only nine accommodations, we can give each of our guests the time and attention they deserve.

That means taking the time to talk, carefully preparing for every arrival, sharing our favorite places in Normandy, or simply enjoying a conversation over a cup of coffee.

Here, luxury is not measured by the number of rooms.

For us, it lies in the peace and quiet, the open spaces, the surrounding nature, the animals that live on the estate, and the thoughtful details that make every stay unique.
