ACCESS, CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

What are the check-in and check-out times?

We welcome our guests starting at 3:00 PM for Guest Roomsand Suites, and starting at 4:00 PM for the Guest Houses. The Guest Houses are accessible via self-check-in to offer you greater freedom upon arrival.

On Sunday, as well as every evening after 7 p.m., check-in is self-service for all of our accommodations. We’ll leave the key right on the door of your accommodation and send you a detailed map, allowing you to arrive at a time that suits you, with complete peace of mind.

Starting at 7:00 p.m., our team is busy serving dinner at the Planche de la Ferme. On Sunday afternoons, the front desk is also closed. However, all our other services, including wellness treatments and the Table d’Hôtes, remain available 7 days a week.

To best prepare for your arrival, please let us know your approximate arrival time no later than the day before your stay. In case of a late arrival, we will send you all the necessary information to easily access your accommodations.

Is there free parking at La Ferme de l’Oudon?

Yes. A private, free parking lot secured by a digital code is available free of charge to all our guests for the duration of their stay. No reservation is necessary; you can park your vehicle with complete peace of mind as soon as you arrive.

What time do we need to check out of the accommodation?

Check-out is no later than 11 a.m., to allow our team to thoroughly prepare your accommodation for the next guests.

If you plan to leave La Ferme de l’Oudon before 8:30 a.m., we simply ask that you let us know the day before so that we can arrange your departure under the best possible conditions.

Can we arrive earlier or leave later?

No. To ensure that every guest has a perfectly prepared accommodation, we do not offer early check-in or late check-out. The time spent cleaning, inspecting, and preparing each accommodation is essential to providing you with the best possible experience.

Is the accommodation cleaned during the stay?

La Ferme de l’Oudon is a private estate offering guest rooms, suites, and guesthouses—not a hotel. We therefore do not offer daily housekeeping or turndown service.

However, if you feel the need during your stay, our team can, upon request, replace your bath towels or bed linens. Please feel free to speak with our housekeeper, who will be happy to assist you.

How does check-in work?

La Ferme de l’Oudon does not have a reception desk that is open around the clock like a traditional hotel. However, we live on-site and are regularly present on the property.

If you need help, information, or assistance during your stay, simply contact us via WhatsApp or come see us. We’re always available to meet your needs and ensure your stay goes as smoothly as possible

Dining

Can we dine on-site?

Yes. During your stay at La Ferme de L’Oudon & Spa, we offer a Table d’Hôtes in Normandy, reserved exclusively for guests staying at our property.

Please note that we do not have a restaurant.

Our Table d’Hôtes complies with guesthouse regulations:

  • a single menu created by our Chef;
  • local and seasonal ingredients;
  • home-style cuisine inspired by the Normandy region;
  • service reserved exclusively for guests of the establishment.

This allows you to enjoy a true gourmet dinner in the comfort and privacy of your room, suite with a private jacuzzi, or guesthouse, without having to get back in your car.

What does the Table d’Hôtes dinner include?

Our Farm Platter is served directly in your accommodations around 7:00 p.m..

It includes:

  • a cream soup (hot or cold, depending on the season);
  • a slow-cooked casserole to share;
  • a selection of Norman cheeses;
  • a homemade dessert.

Prices

  • €33 per adult
  • €19 per child under 12

Drinks and wine are not included but are available in the minibar in your accommodations.

Can we have dinner later if we arrive after 7:00 p.m.?

Yes.

If you plan to arrive late, we’ll prepare your accommodations before you arrive.

Dinner is served in casserole dishes that retain heat perfectly. This way, you can dine at a time that suits you.

All of our accommodations feature a traditional oven or a microwave, as well as a refrigerator.

Where can I view the menu?

The menu changes regularly depending on the season and available ingredients.

Can you choose your own menu?

No.

Tables d’Hôtes regulations require a single menu for all guests.

However, if you have an allergy orfood intolerance, please contact us before your stay at contact@fermedeloudon.com so that we can explore options foraccommodate your needs.

Can we come just for dinner?

No.

Our Table d’Hôtes is exclusively reserved for guests staying at La Ferme de L’Oudon & Spa.

BREAKFAST

Is breakfast included? Where is breakfast served?

Yes, for the Romane and Loggia Bed & Breakfast Rooms, breakfast is included.

For the Suites and the Guest Houses, the following is available for an additional fee:

  • 20 € per adult
  • €15 per child under 12
What are the breakfast hours?

Breakfast is served right in your accommodation, at a time of your choosing between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m..

This way, you can enjoy a gentle wake-up, without any time constraints or having to go anywhere.

What’s included in breakfast?

Our breakfast showcases local and homemade products.

You’ll find, among other things:

  • fresh bread;
  • pastries;
  • eggs;
  • Normandy cheeses;
  • cold cuts;
  • homemade verrines;
  • pastries and treats made on-site.

Everything is served directly to your accommodations so you can fully enjoy your stay in Normandy.

THE SPA

Access to our spa in Normandy is included with all stays at La Ferme de L’Oudon & Spa.

Our wellness area is reserved exclusively for guests staying at the property, to ensure a calm, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere.

The Spa is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..

You are free to enjoy:

  • our heated indoor pool ;
  • our infrared sauna ;
  • our relaxation area with herbal tea bar

What are the Spa’s hours?

The Spa is open to all our guests from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What does the Spa include?

The Spa includes access to the indoor pool, the herbal tea lounge, and the infrared sauna.

What is the temperature of the pool?

Our heated indoor pool is maintained year-round at 27°C, the temperature recommended for indoor pools according to health standards.

Unlike some aquatic complexes or spa resorts, our pool is not heated to more than 30°C. This allows you to enjoy water that’s pleasant for swimming and relaxing all year round.

The pool measures 8 meters by 4 meters, with a depth ranging from 1 meter and 1.40 meters.

Does the spa have a jacuzzi?

No.

Our shared spa does not have a hot tub.

However, several of our accommodations offer a private hot tub, accessible only to the occupants of the unit.

These include:

  • Blue Spa Suite
  • Eden Spa Suite
  • Majorel Spa House

These accommodations are ideal for a romantic weekend with a private hot tub in Normandy.

Can we book accommodations with a private hammam?

Yes.

Our Blue Spa Suite is the only accommodation equipped with a private hammam.

It also includes:

  • a large private jacuzzi;
  • a hydromassage shower;
  • a fitness room;
  • a herbal tea room;
  • a private 40 m² terrace.

Please note that the shared spa does not have a steam room.

Is there private access to the pool?

Yes.

Our Pool Suite features private access to the indoor pool directly from its living room.

Guests have exclusive access to the pool from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning, allowing them to enjoy a special moment in complete privacy.

Simply book our Pool Suite. This suite offers private access to the pool from the living room, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following morning.

Is there private access to the sauna?

Yes.

Our Eden Spa Suite features direct, private access to the infrared sauna every evening from 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

This suite also features a private jacuzzi, ideal for a wellness getaway or a romantic weekend in Normandy.

WELLNESS TREATMENTS

Can we book a massage during our stay?

Yes.

We offer massages and wellness treatments in Normandy, performed by our certified practitioner.

Treatments are available daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., subject to availability.

We strongly recommend that you book your appointment before your arrival to ensure you get your preferred day and time.

We strongly recommend that you book your appointment slot before your arrival to ensure you get your preferred date and time.

It is also entirely possible to book a treatment after you check out of theaccommodation (11 a.m.), subject to our therapist’s availability.

Can we book a couples’ massage?

No.

Our treatment room accommodates only one person at a time.

If you would like to book two massages, they will be performed one after the other, subject to availability.

How do I pay for the massages?

Wellness treatments are paid for separately from your lodging.

Payment is made directly on site via:

  • Credit card
  • Cash.

ANCV vacation checks and bank checks are not accepted.

If you have booked a package that includes a massage or added a massage option to your stay, payment for the treatments must also be made separately upon your arrival.

CHILDREN’S POLICY

Are children welcome at La Ferme de L’Oudon & Spa?

Yes. We welcome families looking to enjoy a stay in Normandy with children, in a quiet, safe setting surrounded by nature.

The accommodations best suited for families are:

  • Le Pressoir (up to 6 people)
  • Maison Spa Majorel (up to 4 people)
  • La Lagune (up to 4 guests)
  • Pool Suite (up to 4 people)

These accommodations offer more space and are perfectly suited for family vacations.

Do you provide baby gear?

Yes.

To make your stay with a young child easier, we provide the following items free of charge upon request:

  • crib
  • high chair
  • infant bathtub

We recommend that you let us know when you make your reservation so that everything can be set up before your arrival.

LINEN AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES

Are bed linens and towels provided?

Yes.

All linens are included in your stay:

  • bed linens;
  • bath towels
  • Bathrobes

This service is included in all of our Rooms, Suites, and Guest Houses.

Is housekeeping included?

Yes.

End-of-stay cleaning is included.

Our team will take care of thoroughly cleaning your accommodation after you leave.

We simply ask our guests staying in Suite or in the Guest House to leave the kitchen or kitchenette clean (dishes washed, countertops wiped down, etc.).

We also ask that you leave your accommodation in a condition that shows respect for our team.

If the accommodation is left in an exceptionally dirty condition requiring a thorough cleaning, a flat fee of 150 € may be charged.

PETS

What animals can you see at La Ferme de L’Oudon?

During your stay, you’ll have the chance to meet the animals that make our farm so charming.

In particular, you’ll meet:

  • our rooster, our hens, our ducks, and our turkeys;
  • our dwarf goats
  • our Vietnamese pig, Carlos
  • our ponies Quetsche and Nautilus
  • our dwarf rabbits

An activity that’s especially popular with kids… but adults love it too!

Can we feed the animals?

Yes.

You can pet our animals and give them dry bread.

However, for their well-being and your safety, you are not allowed to enter the enclosures or the chicken coop.

Are pets allowed?

Yes.

Dogs and other pets are welcome at La Ferme de L’Oudon & Spa.

The additional charge is: 10 € per night per pet.

For everyone’s comfort, we simply ask that you follow a few rules:

  • Keep your dog on a leash throughout the property;
  • Pick up after your dog;
  • Never leave your pet alone in the accommodation;
  • leave your accommodation in a satisfactorily clean condition.

In the event that exceptional cleaning is required due to your pet’s presence, additional fees may be charged.

ENVIRONMENT, ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING, AND RECYCLING

Can I charge an electric vehicle on-site?

Yes. To make your stay in Normandy more enjoyable, La Ferme de l’Oudon & Spa provides its guests with a GREEN’UP charging station for charging electric vehicles. To learn how to use it, simply ask our team upon arrival.

Do you offer recycling?

Yes. A dedicated area for recycling is available in the barn located in the main parking lot. As part of our eco-friendly approach, can also be fed to our pig. At La Ferme de l’Oudon, we prioritize simple actions that help preserve our environment.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY STAY?

What are the payment terms?

When you make a reservation on our website, a 50% deposit is required via credit card to confirm your stay.

The balance can be paid upon arrival by credit card, cash, or ANCV vacation checks.

If you wish to pay a larger portion in cash or with ANCV vacation checks upon arrival, we can credit the corresponding amount back to the credit card used at the time of booking.

We do not accept bank checks, meal vouchers, or other gift certificates (Kadéos, etc.).

Wellness treatments are billed separately and must be paid for exclusively by credit card or cash during your stay.

Which services can be paid for with ANCV checks?

All services booked on our website www.fermedeloudon.com can be paid for with vacation checks, except for wellness treatments, which must be paid for separately by credit card or cash during your stay.

WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR MY STAY?

What are your cancellation policies for a stay in a House or Suite?

Except for our non-cancellable and non-refundable offers, any cancellation or change made 7 days or more before your arrival willincur any charges. We will credit back the 50% charged to your credit card online.  Any cancellation or change made less than 7 days before your arrival will result in a charge for the full cost of your stay. The balance of your reservation will therefore be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

What are the cancellation policies for a bed-and-breakfast stay?

Except for our non-cancelable and non-refundable offers, any cancellation or change made 5 days or more before your arrival will incur no charge. We will credit the 50% charged to your credit card online. Any cancellation or change made less than 5 days before your arrival will result in a charge for the entire stay. The balance of your reservation will therefore be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

To book with complete peace of mind, we also offer you the option to purchase cancellation insurance directly when you make your reservation on our website. This option can provide coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances, subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAY

Are the accommodations-adapted for people with limited mobility?

Due to the layout of our old Norman farmhouse, our accommodations are unfortunately not accessible to people with limited mobility (PWM) as defined by regulations.

However, if your mobility challenges are limited, our Maison Spa Majorel is the most suitable option. Entirely on one level, it features, among other things, an Italian-style shower, offering additional comfort for guests with mobility challenges.

Which accommodations have a fireplace?

The accommodations Le Lavoir, La Lagune, Le Pressoir, and Le Spa Majorel feature a working fireplace. The Blue Spa Suite has a decorative fireplace.

The fireplaces are available from All Saints’ Day throughEaster.

A firewood kit containing several logs, kindling, and fire starters is available for €15. Simplysimply ask our team for one.

The fireplaces are in use only from All Saints’ Day through Easter.

Where can I view the map of the property?

A detailed map of La Ferme de l’Oudon & Spa is available to help you easily locate each guest room, suite, and guest house,as well as the various areas of the estate.

Can we add an extra bed?

Yes. We can set up an extra bed in each of our accommodations for children under 12 years old.

This is a single-person folding chair bed, available for 15 € per night (breakfast not included). Only one extra bed can be provided per accommodation unit.

Cribs for children under 3 years old are available free of charge upon request at the time of your reservation.

Do the accommodations have a barbecue?

No. For safety and peace-of-mind reasons, none of our accommodations have a barbecue.

We offer gift cards in various denominations. Simply select the amount you’d like to give, pay online with a credit card, and then share the code you receive with the recipient.

The gift card recipient can then book the accommodations and services of their choice for the dates they prefer. They can pay for their reservation using the code you provided.
