What You Don’t Always See When You Stay With Us…

At La Ferme de L’Oudon, behind the peaceful atmosphere of the estate, the breakfasts delivered to your accommodation and the relaxing moments at the Spa, there is a whole world quietly coming to life each day.

In the Morning, the Farm Comes to Life

While our guests are still sleeping, the day has already begun. Breakfasts are prepared and delivered to each accommodation, while our first walk around the estate gives us a chance to check on the animals.

Ponies, dwarf goats, rabbits, chickens and our Vietnamese pig are all part of daily life at the Farm.

Preparing for Each New Arrival

From 11 a.m., some stays come to an end while we begin preparing for the next arrivals.

The houses, suites and rooms are carefully prepared, fresh linen is put in place and every detail is checked. At the same time, we take care of the grounds and our wellness facilities: the heated indoor pool, infrared sauna and Spa all require daily attention.

The idea is simple: when you arrive, everything should be ready so that all you have to do is settle in and enjoy your stay.

In the Afternoon, New Guests Arrive

From 3 p.m., life at the Farm takes on a different rhythm as we welcome couples and families arriving to enjoy a few days in the heart of the Pays d’Auge.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Timothée prepares the evening meal, ready to be served directly in your accommodation.

And Then, Calm Returns…

As evening falls, dinners are served, the animals settle down for the night and the lights gradually come on around the estate.

Some guests are still enjoying the pool or their private hot tub, while others are simply making the most of the peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside.

That is also what La Ferme de L’Oudon is all about: countless little things happening behind the scenes so that you can simply unpack, slow down and enjoy your stay.
