Gourmet breakfasts are served in the garden room conservatory next to the kitchen and opening on to the kitchen garden. The meal consists of a range of home-made jams, cakes, fresh bread and croissants, yoghurts and local cheeses, fruit juices and, often, the famous Norman dish tergoule - a kind of rice pudding. Guests staying for more than two nights are welcome to use the kitchenette facilities in the conservatory.
Gite guests are very welcome to join us and the b and b guests for breakfast at a cost of 10 euros per person.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, for min. 4 pers. : nights guests staying on the farm are very welcome to take a sumptuous evening meal which utilises fresh seasonal garden vegetables.
A typical menu might be :
Aperitifs and hot savoury pastries
Terrine of chicken liver with pommeau
Tartlets with a mousse of livarot cheese and lemon cream Pear sorbet with calvados Beef slices cooked in cider. Herb purée.
A flute of cinnamon ice cream with caramelised apples Red wine, white wine and coffee included.
40 euros per person
Children under 10 might find these dinners long and tiring thus, to allow their parents to savour the full meal, we prepare for them a simpler meal in the kitchen for 15 euros a child.
